You have a web site. You need a place to put it. We've got you covered!

Any website we design will be hosted on our server FREE for 6 months.

After 6 months your site can remain on our server for only $3.00 per month, payable semi-annually ($18.00) or annually ($36.00). Currently DF Web Services does not offer web hosting to the general public. We have the capability, but web hosting is a separate game altogether - it has its own little quirks. We would rather focus our attention on web development, and not web hosting as a stand-alone business. This may change in the near future.

Your website will be hosted on super-fast, up-to-date servers which are monitored 24/7 so there will be virtually no downtime at all. We have been using this same service for years and we have nothing but good results and fast connections.

If you choose to use your own webhost and we are going to maintain the website:

We prefer that the web site be on a Unix / Linux based server, especially if we are going to maintain the web site. If your web site contains Perl scripts or almost any other scripting we require that the site be hosted on one of these servers. Windows based servers do not support Perl without special software. Windows is a great operating system, but is inferior as a server platform. That's just my opinion.
